About us
Basera Niedermann and his employees have been operating for 10 years in the wholesale tea business and have been distributing Pukka Herbs’ products since October 2007. We share Pukka Herbs’ passion for top quality products (Pukka means top quality in Hindi) and the responsibility that we as entrepreneurs have to bear for our social and environmental impact.
Pukka Herbs was founded in 2001 by Sebastian Pole and Tim Westwell in England. Much has changed since the two started Pukka Herbs in Tim’s bathroom. Currently more than 1,000,000 plants and trees are organically planted for Pukka Herbs each year, by farmers paid fair wages. The herbs are then processed into miscellaneous products in England.
